Inspired by California flowers and landscapes, David E. Lentz has brought forth his limitless ideas to create wonderful art. As a graduate of Drexel University, with Chemical Engineering and Nursing degrees and now working on his Masters in Health Informatics, it may come as a surprise that his true passion is for art! David’s artwork has and always will remain an outlet to express himself and the growth in his life experiences as a critical care nurse. Known for his detailed tiling effect, hidden inspirational messages in his work, and for the uplifting of his followers, it’s no wonder David has won “Best in Show” at the 2012 and 2014 Penn Medicine’s Celebration of Art and Life Exhibitions. He currently has multiple works displayed throughout the health system at Pennsylvania Hospital, The Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine, and Penn Tower and has new works being displayed in the upcoming 2016 show.

The work represented in the gallery today is part of a concept David has been working on, which relates to the continuity of life. While some see this work as abstract, others will view it as an organized mess.

Thank you for checking out the work! Enjoy!
